The article is devoted to the communicative-activity approach study of Russian literature by schoolchildren for whom not their native language. presents experience designing lessons tale O. Wilde and A. Pushkin. examples achieving performance in terms skills competencies, implementation integrated teaching speech activity, a combination types educational activities are shown. didactics generalized from standpoint motivation second language literature, formation effective communication skills. fairy "The Nightingale Rose" considered as model learning enhancing empathy students, adapting perception listener. Communication exercises developed using cultural linguistics, development student's linguistic competence, ratio communicative pragmatic sides lesson, textbooks fixed format. recommended didactic resource takes into account directions reform secondary school Kazakhstan. method practical described measurable results, text-centric teaching, activities, comparative English literary tales. It has been substantiated that task assessment students' answers an element learning, contribute critical thinking, creative approach.
